Mrs-O & I went to the Texas Roadhouse, as they built a new one in Arnold, MO. I was not sure what to expect, but let me tell you, It is definitely an interesting place. The first thing i noticed were the peanuts, and the shells on the floor. I was reminded of the old 'Ground Round' that is no longer. We put our name in and got a printout with a number on it. Was told to go pick out the steaks, and then was very happy to see such quality cuts presented to me. I selected the 11oz sirloin. |

Are there any Thanksgiving games? Or turkey games? Also, I think it would be useful if there was a way we could type in a keyword or two to find a game. Example: I would type in turkey and click search and it would tell me. Instead of having to go thru all the games.

I’ve heard businessmen say, “Don’t work harder, work smarter.” I like that. Sloth is my deadly sin of choice, and I take any chance I get to not have to work hard. Being lazy makes me efficient. I want the job done, but done right and as quickly as possible. Sometimes, despite planning and good intentions, life doesn’t work that way.

I’m not superstitious. Just because my parking space is open at the grocery store doesn’t mean everything I want will be on sale and I won’t have to stand in line. I don’t have to drink coffee out of my special cups in order to have a good day. It’s okay (really) to write in a journal with a pen other than my special pen (and if they don’t quit taking my special pens, I have a New Year’s prediction….) Oh, and spotting an owl in the daytime is not a precursor to disaster. That’s just creepy.

I came up with this one day when I got bored, so I decided to find something to make for dinner. I am always snooping around in the kitchen to find something to make, so I found some noodles, a can of Hormel chili, onion, and cheese. So I decided to cook the noodles and heat up the sauce and cut my onions, and shred my cheese. So then I was thinking on what to do with everything that I cooked. So I just decided to mix it all together then pop it in the oven, and cook!! It turned out good, and everyone on the family loved it, especially my dad.
