Where the Road Leads

Recently the road that my life has been on has prevented me from participatiing and joining in activities on the internet.  I have felt a loss as a result.  I have also discovered some things about myself and life as a result of my recent activities.

The Other Woman

I am sometimes ask where I get my attitude about life and I usually
respond that it comes from my wife Jane.  Jane certainly is a person who believes in staying motivated and excited about life, but I am not sure she is my only source of inspiration. Let me tell you about another woman I know.

"Lick My Plate Clean"
I can't remember exactly where I heard this expression.  I woke up this morning thinking about it, so maybe on the radio as I was going to sleep.  It seems to me that the title to this little note had to do with life and getting the most out of all that is there.

Luck...

Why is it that the people who seem to have so much going for them already, are the lucky ones to receive even more opportunities. It just isn't fair!...or is it?

I Have A Problem

I have a problem. Today as I sit here trying to access my mail, the program keeps freezing up.  I know I will lose over a hundred emails that are waiting for answers. I have a problem. How am I to even write my thoughts and send them to anyone with the mail program messed up? I have a problem.  All the people who are waiting so patiently for return mail will be left in limbo. With my memory I will never remember all those I owe mail to..or even what about.

Well, problem one was not a problem at all, only a challenge...

Engine Tune Up?

Yesterday was pretty good day, but I could not seem to get into high gear. My engine was not hitting on all 4 cylinders. I have since been giving thought to why some days my motivational engine runs smoothly and on other days the power is not available. Am I low on fuel? Is my fuel mixture wrong? Maybe it is my timing chain, or could it be a lack of spark to ignite the fuel?

Through the Eyes of a Child (With a Pinch of Salt)

In my last motivational scribblings, I spent time exploring  one possibleway to "think out of the box".  I placed myself in other peoples shoes to gain a different perspective on a situation.  Throughout the day, I continued the excersise and came across the one person we all need to consult.  The view: THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD

Beyond Feasibility

Have you kept in mind your disabilities when planning your path?  When you mapped out your path, did you do a feasibility study? Is your path even remotely feasible?  Does it make any sense to start on a path that is beyond our scope of understanding? Where should we draw the line on possibilities?

An Oxymoron?

"Smile and the world smiles with you. Cry and you Cry alone."
  "Misery loves company."

In my reading today I came across both of these quotes.  As I read each one individually I thought, How true.  Now it seems to me to be a kind of oxymoron. But is it?
