I should  really  pay   attention  to   what  is   going on!

At  our  auction  house  you  can  view  everything  before  hand and even  if  the  some  lots  sort  in to  boxes  you  would  like  to  bid on.  I  decide  to   take advantage  of  this  option  frequently.

A couple  months  age  there was about  12  pallets of  music  cds. So I  start looking  through  titles and picked  out  about 6 or  so  for  stocking  stuffer.

The  auctioneer  started  and  when it  got to the  cds  I  wanted to be  sure  I  got  my  selected ones.  Entering  the  bidding ,  wow   I  really  got  great  deal.  In my  mind  I am  thinking  no one  was  really  bidding  because  so  many  available.  Auctioneer   put  down  the  gavel  sold.  Yeah  as  I  go  to  collect my  booty.

The  auction  helper  Lee  was  standing  there and  says  to  me " I  got  the  dolly  and help you  out  to  your  truck".   Hmmmm  that  is  really  sweet  but  I  really  can handle  toting my  6  cds  to  the  truck.  But  Thanks  for  the  offer.

Then  Lee  told  me  is  was  not 6 cds  I  was  bidding  on   but 6 CASES.  WHAT!! I  just  looked  really  dumbfounded  for a minute  or  two. But  all  I  wanted  was these  6.  Nope  had  to  take  6 cases.  Lee  tells  me  to  hurry  up  and  pull  6 out  of  a  case  and  insert  my  6  in. 

So  at  least  I  got my 6  cds  I really  wanted  and about  2394  I  did not.

Ok  next  time  I  will  keep  my  hand  down  and listen  before  bidding.
